THE FOUNDERS
Willie Hanekom has dedicated his career in becoming a Specialist in the field of Logistics and Systems Engineering. Willie has been in die industry since 1987.
He was the founder and owner of Countrywide Footwear Carriers, since 1987 and actively involved in the company until 2005. He then sold the highly successful and profitable company to Consolidated Import & Exports. Consolidated Import & Exports in turn sold the company to the Value Group. In 2005 Incomati Warehousing & Distribution was founded, as a vehicle to utilize his experience in consulting to the retail and logistic industry. During 2009 Incomati Warehousing and Distribution became an active role player in the transport and warehousing industry, no longer merely functioning and a consulting business.
Dawie Smith is the second leg on which the company’s success resides. Dawie is a certified MCSE and a registered Microsoft Partner.
In the Early 1990’s he started working in the Transport Industry and gained immense experience on the physical operation of warehousing and logistics. He has been working in the Transport Industry ever since. He is a highly skilled IT engineer with extensive knowledge of the workings of the Supply Chain industry.
After achieving his Microsoft Certification in the late 1990’s, Dawie started actively developing computer systems targeted at warehousing and distribution. Dawie is familiar with a variety of programming platforms, although he prefers to do his development on the Microsoft .Net platform using Microsoft Visual Basic .Net and Microsoft SQL Server
