01 About the role

Incomati Warehousing & Distribution is a footwear and apparel 3PL in Germiston. We've been running since 2005, with roots in footwear logistics going back to 1987.

We store, control and distribute stock for retailers and wholesalers, and we write our own software to do it, including the incoDynamix WMS that runs our floor. You'll work with the team that builds those systems.

The role

Day-to-day warehouse operations for a few of our clients. You own the floor from the truck coming in to the truck going out.

What you'll run

Receiving & putaway

Stock checked in against the paperwork and put away in the right bins.

Bin-level stock accuracy

What the system says is in a bin is what's physically in the bin. Every time.

Picking accuracy

Right item, right size, right colour, right quantity, on every order.

Dispatch on time

Orders out of the door when the client and the store expect them.

Stock takes

Plan and run cycle counts and full stock takes, and close out the variances.

Leading the floor team

Shifts, targets, training and discipline. You're on the floor with the team, not behind a desk.

What we're looking for

3+ years running a warehouse or distribution centre
Comfortable with a WMS and handheld scanners
Good with people and good with numbers
You fix problems on the floor instead of reporting them
A plus: high SKU counts, and fashion or apparel stock
